Wine Cork Garden Markers
I haven’t done a DIY in a while so I’m excited to share a fun one for labeling your plants! These wine cork garden markers are super easy and look cute too! Cork is naturally water repellent so you won’t have to worry about water ruining the labels and causing the ink to run. Wine corks can also be recycled so forget those plastic labels that are bad for the environment!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Wine corks
- Permanent marker
- Cocktail skewers (6 inch)
WHAT TO DO:
- With the permanent marker, write the names of the plants on the corks.
- Push the pointy end of the cocktail skewers, into the bottom of the cork (this is easier if you use corks that have been previously used as the corkscrew creates somewhat of a channel). You can also use a hammer to lightly tap the skewer in.
That’s it! Your beautiful new garden markers are ready to go!
